INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR PRISON STUDIES - KING´S COLLEGE LONDON
The International Centre for Prison Studies seeks to assist governments and other relevant agencies to develop appropriate policies on prisons and the use of imprisonment. It carries out its work on a project or consultancy basis for international agencies, governmental and non-governmental organisations. It aims to make the results of its academic research and projects widely available to groups and individuals, both nationally and internationally, who might not normally use such work. These include policy makers, practitioners and administrators, the media and the general public. Such dissemination will help to increase an understanding of the purpose of prison and what can be expected of it.

INTERNATIONAL HUMANS RIGHTS CLINIC - HARVARD UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL
The International Human Rights Clinic gives students the opportunity for first-hand experience with the vital issues, institutions and processes of the human rights movement. In addition to work in Cambridge, students travel regulary with clinical supervisors to document abuses and promote respect for the rule of law.

The Pew Center on the States (PCS) works to advance state policies that serve the public interest. PCS conducts credible research, brings together diverse perspectives, and analyzes states’ experiences to determine what works and what does not. We work with a wide variety of partners to identify and advance nonpartisan, pragmatic solutions for pressing problems affecting Americans.

QUAKER UNITED NATIONS OFFICE
The Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO) serves as a Quaker presence at the United Nations (UN), representing Friends’ concerns at the international level, with offices at UN headquarters in New York, as well as in Geneva. In addition to representing Friends, QUNO facilitates dialogue and works on specific issues in a manner that is unique in the UN community. QUNO advocacy is carried out in a number of ways, particularly by facilitating informal, open negotiating processes in which all participate on an equal footing.
